All I can say for short is that teaching business pays a lot if you know what you are doing and if you do it very well. Do you know that you can start making a lot of money just by organizing lessons and tutorials and lectures in your neighborhood? Do you know that you can start off a lucrative lesson centre business and make either part time or full time income by just teaching and lecturing people for what you know best?, there is endless opportunity to what you can do as a teacher and your boundary of success is not limited because you can practically start off and package yourself to be a home base teacher and start collecting a lot of money around your area.
How to Start a Tutorial /Lesson Centre Business in Nigeria and Make Money
1#. Find out What You know Best
First of all, you need to find out what you know best, are you good in Chemistry, Biology, English or Mathematics? Or any other subject?, you need to know a particular subject to some extend before you can embark on creating or lunching a training centre business. You can help expand yourself on a particular subject by reading further books and guide to help you perfect yourself more on the subject. You can use Google to do more research.

2#. Come Up with Your Lesson Centre or Tutorial Class Lecture Name
Business Name is a very important factor and ingredient that make or mile any business. You need to come up with a name that will be very sharp and easy to pronounce. Don’t look for name that is very dull or a name that does not look charming. You can think of a name like Sharp Brain Academy, Classical Brain Tutor, and Power Mind Brain Academy etc. You can use these as a sample name in deciding the name of your tutorial/ Lesson Centre business. Choose your name and get it written down with your pen somewhere in your book.

3#. Find a Centre
Another step you should put into consideration is for you to find a centre where you will be doing the lesson. These can be very expensive for a start but you can use an alternative means of going from house to house or using your own immediate house or compound if the place is large enough to accommodate people. If you don’t have the capital at hand to rent a place, you can use the second option of running your training on your house or compound for the main time, once you have raise up money from the business, you can look for a place.

4#. Look and do Your Market Research
This is another interesting part of the whole set up. You need to go to other lesson centre around your place of resident to find out how much money they charge per student, doing this will help you a lot in deciding how much you will charge for your own lesson centre.  Let assume that after your investigation, you discover that other lesson centre charges N1000 per student for a month lesson, you can decide to charge N500 per student for a start and when you have fully establish the business, you can decide to increase your lesson fee.

5#. Market Your Tutorial /Lesson Centre Business
As the adage in business always remain the same that without people buying your services, you will not make money and even though you are the first class teacher in the whole world who know more than all the professor in the whole world combine, if you could not market or tell people what you know and how best they can get your services, you will die with all your knowledge. What I am trying to say here is that you need to do aggressive marketing for your tutorial /Lesson Centre business, you can print
  1.  Flyers
  2. Hand Bill
  3. Create a Blog
  4. Use Bulk SMS to market your lesson and to fully tell the public that you are in for it. You can go to schools during dismissal period to share hand bills to them and encourage them to come to your lesson centre. Doing this will surely make your lesson or tutorial class centre to be popular within a limited short time frame and you should maintain the integrity and motive you use in starting the business from the very humble beginning. If you promise to teach the student very well don’t fail to deliver as you promise. Do this regularly and you see yourself and your business becoming the talk of thing in town.

6#. Implore More People
If you find out that you cannot handle all the subject at once, you can look for one or two more person who is capable and willing to teach to help you in handling some subject. You can pay them per month or per hours or each subject, it all depends on the power of negotiation and agreement. You need to pay them the agree price to enable them discharge their duties and teach the student with their might. Don’t be selfish and don’t take all the money alone with you. You need to reward your staffs by a way of paying them well. You should equally monitor your staff performance and how well they are actually teaching the student. You need to know that the business solemnly depends on you and how well the business survives is as a result of how well you take it and how serious you decide with the faith of the business.

7#. How to Really Make Money out of this Business
After investigating other lesson as I stated in step 4, you next target is to know the exert formula to use when it come to pricing your lesson fee. You can decide to start with charging student let say SS1 student N600 per month, and may be N1500 for SS2 and SS3 student, while junior student can pay N500 per month. Assuming you finally get up to 20 student per month that will be N500 X 20=10,000 and if you get up to 40 student per month that will be N500 X 40=N20, 000 what if you get up to 100 student per a month that will be N500 X 100= N50,000 and remember that I am just using the default money for Junior Class student to do the calculation.
To increase your earning each month, you can start offering home training classes by going directly to some houses to take a teaching contract bases to teach their children on a long vacation. If you keep doing these and follow the above guideline, I don’t think you will look for any job again because you have just got yourself a long lasting job without a Boss shouting on your head to do their beading for them. If you grow the business up, you can decide to take it to another level by turning it into a full school.

Conclusion
