How to Create a Blog Post

Once you have created your blog and customize it a little bit to your liking, the next steps you should do is for you to create a blog post.

What is a blog post?

A blog post simple means an entry article you write on your blog. That is what you type on your blog and it talks and revolve around the name of your site. You need to have the skills and ability to come up with a good blog post idea. Blog post function in a chronological order whereby the recent post comes first and the old post goes down the site.

How to come up with good post Idea

Before you write your blog post, you need to come up with a good post idea that will be suitable for your blog audience and the only you can do that is for you to brainstorm yourself and develop a unique way to write out a good article, you can use Google to research a good post idea or use keyword research tools like Google Keyword Planner to know what people are looking for. You can equally use forum, Google trend etc. to find a good post idea.

How to Write your First Blog Post

To write your blog post do the following few steps

1.Login to your blogger account

2.Click at the Post Tab as shown below

You will be taking to the post Tab Editor Screen as show below

The Default post Editor looks similar to MS-word.You should know that the Post Editor is made up of HTMl and Compose Mode, the HTML mode enable you to add few HTML code on your blog post and the compose mode helps you to type only text .

3.To start with, just type your post title and content on the post editor

If you take a look at the upper side, you will see verities of tools like where you can hold the Text, change color your text; add links, underline words etc. just choose any option you like and format your post to look good.

4.When you are done editing and typing your post click on published button at the upper right hand side of the editor screen

Waoooo!, your blog post is alive now, you can visit your blog front view to see things for yourself.
